Custody, Visitation, and Medical/Dental Support Orders (CVS) (Family Court Judges) When is CVS Needed? A Custody, Visitation, and Medical/Dental Support Order (CVS) may be needed when: a. I don't believe in child support being a tool to make the other parent feel guilty, and I feel that if my partner thinks it is, she should leave me, take her child and live with her partner, because I have no intention  of raising children (and, if I do, she should have to pay the same amount). I have had enough of the drama with my partner and she isn't the person I want.
